This is just a quick post. I know it has been a while since I have updated anything, and for numerous reasons. I have several blog posts sitting in Draft status, that I will get polished and posted, accordingly, as soon as possible. In the meantime, I wanted to post a few images of a project I finished over the Labor Day weekend.
This little bag was warped and hand woven entirely on Knifty Knitter circular looms. And my goal in achieving this project, thanks to Suzy Brown [Wool Wench]and Andrew Poad [Majacraft], as a result of their Warp Speed Competition, was to show what could be done with this kind of Weaving. And done in response to questions I've had about circular weaving in general, like 'It's pretty, and neat, but what do you do with it?' I trust this will go a long way in addressing the possibilities.
Another way to see what's going on in the relatively new phenomena of circular weaving is to visit Suzy's and Andrew's Circle Weaving Facebook Group. There are weaver's from all over the world, weaving amazing things.
I also invite to visit, and Like, my HeartSong Studio Facebook community page. I have lots of things posted there, that haven't made their way here; just yet. Plus, I have a GiveAway weaving that I'm working on, that someone can win--- once I hit 250 Likes.
I'll post more photos and information about this project soon.
Until then,
